Lead Design Engineer
We are looking for a Lead Design Engineer with a strong electronics and physical security background to drive innovative solutions, oversee design projects, and ensure the technical excellence of our security systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of physical security solutions, including perimeter protection, access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, and integrated electronic security systems.
- Manage end-to-end project design, from initial concept through to implementation, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Develop detailed technical drawings, schematics, and specifications using CAD and other design tools.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including security consultants, project managers, and installation engineers, to deliver seamless solutions.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and assess their feasibility for integration into security systems.
- Conduct site surveys and risk assessments to tailor security designs to specific project needs.
- Oversee testing, validation, and troubleshooting of security systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and design teams.
- Engage with clients and stakeholders to understand security requirements and provide expert recommendations.
Qualifications:
Education:
Typically a degree in engineering, architecture, or a related field; (However not a pre-requisite).
Experience:
Relevant experience in blast mitigation, structural engineering, or related fields.
Certifications:
Professional certifications related to safety, engineering, or risk management may enhance qualifications.
